What We Do
The Reboot Academy provides a welcoming environment where people of all ages and backgrounds can gain digital skills, financial wisdom, and career guidance designed for adults navigating major life transitions – delivered with understanding that everyone's journey looks different. This positions The Reboot Academy as serving our diverse community while highlighting the gaps we’re uniquely positioned to fill.
-
Accessible tech education for people in transition: Whether someone is reentering society, aging into new technology, or navigating career changes in their 20s and 30s, most programs don't address the specific learning needs of adults who feel left behind by rapid technological advancement.
-
Practical financial rebuilding resources: Generic financial literacy doesn't serve people who are starting over at different life stages - from seniors on fixed incomes to young adults building credit for the first time to formerly incarcerated individuals rebuilding their financial foundation.
-
Career development that meets people where they are: Traditional job training assumes everyone starts from the same place, but our participants need guidance tailored to their unique circumstances - whether that's age discrimination, employment gaps, or lack of modern workplace experience.
-
Inclusive learning environment: A space where a 65-year-old learning email, a 28-year-old pivoting careers, and someone reentering the workforce can all learn together without judgment.
Empowering these individuals in underrepresented communities creates a ripple effect that transforms entire societies. When they gain access to resources, education, and opportunities, they become agents of change for their families and communities.
We Serve at Pivotal Moments

High school seniors need additional support to transition successfully to higher education.

25-30 year old's face employment barriers, housing instability, and limited professional networks.

Formerly incarcerated individuals encounter systematic employment discrimination.
